Joey Smith: Joey came to Victoria from Tennessee via the Glenn Miller Orchestra, with which he toured as bassist for more than two years. After earning his Masters Degree in music at the prestigious Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, he and his wife settled in Victoria in 1990. Joey is one of Victoria's busiest musicians because, in addition to his superlative bass playing, he doubles on guitar and tuba and is an accomplished arranger (His arrangements have been played by musical organizations ranging from the Glenn Miller Orchestra to the Victoria Symphony Orchestra.)
